The Cold Bath was once at the heart of the town’s renowned therapeutic treatments. Among the various options available, visitors could choose from warm baths—like plunge, shower, hot air, and vapor baths—or opt for the invigorating cold baths, which included shower and spouting baths. The Cold Bath, located on the east side at the top of the road, holds the distinction of being the oldest bath in Harrogate. In fact, the road itself was named after this very bath, marking its significance in the town’s rich history.
