Before we begin here’s a quick health and safety note for those taking a self guided tour around The Forest of Knaresborough. (Harrogate, Knaresborough and Surrounding areas).

 

When engaging in any of my walks, please always remember to be aware of your surroundings at all times and take care when navigating the towns and villages with their traffic, narrow streets and small paths. Therefore please make sure you only listen to the guides when it is safe to do so. Thank you.  

 

Please note any people under the age of  18 or vulnerable adults must be accompanied by appropriate adults when taking part in live or self guided tours. Group bookings for young and vulnerable people will need to be made in advance, please get in touch to find out more.  My tours follow the the Institute of Tourist Guiding recommends. ​

 

Participants are advised to be fully prepared for the weather conditions before attending the guided walks. You may wish  consider footwear, protective clothing and suitable bags for carrying any personal belongings.  Groups will be positioned in the shade or under cover, wherever possible. The routes have been created to accommodate all abilities avoiding steps and steep hills where possible.
